A Moment with a Food Labeling Cynic // #2

Why do I feel like the phrase “Not Labeled for Individual Sale” is the food industry’s way of saying, “If you eat that granola bar of unknown vintage you found in the back of your desk drawer, what happens to you is not on us“?

So, I’m going to eat this Nature Valley bar from circa 2008 (a wild guess), and you’re just gonna wash your hands of the whole thing, huh, Big Food?  Just look the other way?

Nice. I’d shake my head in disgust at you, Big Food, but I’m nauseated for some reason.
